Cadence has strong CBT and DBT Programs, and we are committed to providing evidence-based treatments for children and adolescents and their families. Our team prides itself as scientist-practitioners, learning about new research, continually monitoring and tightening our fidelity to a wide array of evidence-based treatments, and videotape review and consultation for cases. As a team, we serve individuals with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, anxiety and stress, disruptive behaviors, depression, eating disorders, emotion regulation, OCD, and trauma. The HerRay! Foundation DBT Postdoctoral Fellow
Cadence has a comprehensive DBT program, including phone coaching, individual therapy, multi-family skills groups, and regular consult team meetings. We are one of the only DBT Programs that has been certified by the Linehan Board of Certification. We also have a collaborative relationship with Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., Founder of DBT, and BRTC at the University of Washington, to enhance our services and to provide training and research opportunities for therapists and trainees.
The fellow will receive experience and training in evidence-based therapies, including individual cognitive-behavioral therapies, individual Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), behavioral parent training, and participation in DBT skills groups.
