PhD – Therapist
Cinthia is a post-doctoral fellow and part of the CBT and DBT teams. Areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), self-harm, suicidal thoughts and behavior and emotional dysregulation.
Cinthia received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ohio State University where she focused on the impact of validation strategies for individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. During her training, Cinthia has provided CBT and DBT treatment in multiple settings including college psychology services center, primary care clinic, forensic inpatient hospital, and Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. Cinthia also provided treatment and assessment to adolescents with autism spectrum disorders through Vanderbilt’s Kennedy Center.
Her personal interests include hiking, writing, and photography.
